GEL LEG PROTECTOR WRAPS

• Pair of GEL wheelchair leg wraps to fit 70 Degree swingaway foot rests; 2 1/2″ x 9 1/2″. Velcro closure.

GEL LEG HANGAR CAP COVER

• Covers the ‘leg rest hangers’ on a wheelchair,5 ½”. When user wants to self-propel wheelchair with own feet – the wheelchair leg rests /foot rests are removed – exposing the metal protrusions on which they normally hang. GEL pads cover the leg rest hangers on each side and protect the user from banging against the metal hangers while using their feet for self-propelling. When removed from the leg hangers – each pad has a built in grommet so it can be stored on the chair via a tie wrap or hook and loop.

GEL KNEE PROTECTOR WRAP

• Pair of 3.5″ x 1.75″ x 1/2″ GEL knee protector wraps to wrap around the knee bend area of the frame of a manual wheelchair, to protect the knee from bumps and bruises and to assist in healing bruises or wounds. They fit 3/4″ to 1.25″ diameter tubing. Each pad is 3 oz. Works wonderfully to pad any bend or corner of durable medical equipment because they bend around corners. Additional uses include push handles; fronts of arm rests; and similar places on durable medical equipment.

GEL LEG STRAP – 55”

• The 55” GEL Leg Strap has 2 nylon D rings and Velcro® closure, as well as a choice of GEL pad size within the strap.
• Gel Works leg straps have two major advantages:
• the protective GEL makes them much more comfortable and less likely to cause problems from pressure arising from tone
• very easy to position and reposition, as often as you (or the client) need, quickly and without tools.
• Gel is 1/2” thick; D rings are made from nylon; cover is nylon knit.
• Select AGLS based on GEL size.  GEL should fit back of legs and continue partially on sides of legs.  After positioning the belt where you want it along the legs,    check that the gel portion is centered. Slip the D ring at the Velcro® end thru the other D ring.  Pull on the free D ring until tight enough. Then push down on the Velcro® closure getting it set ‘where you want it’. When you want it gone, reverse the process – it is that easy.  When using below the knee, slip the D ring at the Velcro® end thru the other D ring – and slide strap over feet and then re-adjust.
• Surface washable or wash TOP RACK of dishwasher with HEAT turned off.

GEL FULL LENGTH LEG PROTECTOR PAD

GEL pad and hardware combination attaches to the leg rest or foot rest to provide full protection of the soft tissue along the length of the leg rest. Clamps fit 7/8” or 1” tubing.

• It also offers a useful way of positioning the leg.

• Pair of 4″ diameter GEL Knee Protector Button Pads for Swingaway foot rests.
• Clamps and hardware to attach to footrests included.
